The colours used to produce surf wear are traditionally influenced by customary colour like stone, beige, grey, black, white, navy, brown and surf blue. Surf brands continue to use these colours but they also add seasonal and fashion influenced colours to the collection. This means that there should be a colour to suit everyone's taste.

If we were asked what items of clothing would probably define the look of the surfer then the essential items would probably be a pair of boardshorts (boardies), a surf T-Shirt, a hoody and a pair of slaps (flip flops) or trainers. Obviously the boardies are substituted for a pair of jeans in the winter.
