Cool Surf Walkshorts
Walkshorts are comfortable and easy to wear, dressed up with a collared short sleeve shirt, or down with a casual surf t-shirt. Walkshorts are also practical, particularly in hot weather, as they keep you cool as they are lightweight and allow a wide range of motion. Walkshorts also help to ensure that your legs get a good tan in the summer. Those preferring a fashion-influenced style wear walkshorts made of plaid patterned materials or denim walkshorts, but the classic walkshorts for surfers are the combat or cargo walkshort with its large number of pockets, with surfers preferring earthy coloured shorts such as khaki, brown, beige, black, or charcoal.
Three Quarter Length Tip
Also popular are cropped trousers/three quarter length shorts, which are perhaps smarter than walkshorts. Some cropped trousers or three quarter length shorts have the benefit of being able to be zipped down to a smaller length short, giving the effect of two short styles for the price of one.
