Sweatshirts & Jumpers
In 1925 the sweatshirt was born. Sweatshirts were originally crew neck tops with full length sleeves and made of cotton. Sweatshirts were designed for athletes to wear while training, or before or after sports. In the modern era sweatshirts are frequently made of a polyester cotton mix and have a fleece lining. The word sweatshirt loosely used to associate with jumpers, pullovers, jerseys and sweaters.
Beach Sweatshirt Variations
Other variations of the sweatshirt are sleeveless jumpers, commonly known as tank tops, while cardigans are essentially sweats with a button-up front, and hooded sweatshirts have become popularly known as hoodies.
