Sandals & Flip Flops
Sandals and flip flops have been worn for centuries by people living in hot climates, providing low cost open toed footwear that will keep the feet cool in warm weather. Also known as slaps or thongs in Australia and the US, these ranges are the surfer's footwear of choice. Ideal to wear at the beach, as they keep the feet cool, flip flops quickly dry when the sea gets them wet, and the sand from the beach is easily removed from the sole.
Classic & Customised Flip Flops
Most sandals and flip flops have a textured foot bed and a textured sole to improve grip whilst walking on the sand, or when the footwear is wet. The surf company Reef have also developed surf sandal innovations such as the Mick Fanning signature sandal with its underfoot bottle opener, the Dram sandal with its drink holding compartment, the Stash sandal with it's compartment for holding a key or credit card, and the Mulligan with it's golf ball marker and tee - because surfers have to do something when there's no surf!
