Wallets
The most common styles of wallet in the modern era are bi-fold or tri-fold wallets. The bi-fold wallet folds over once, and the tri-fold wallet folds twice, for three separate panels. Wallets are normally made of leather, mock leather (PVC, for example), or from tough-wearing polyester similar to that used to make rucksacks. Leather wallets and mock leather wallets may be fastened closed using a popper, or an elastic strap, and polyester wallets are generally fastened by Velcro or popper.
